There&#8217;s a freezer full of food for the kids, the dog and a bin of kibble for the cat. Then it&#8217;s off to strap my ass to a big old aluminum tube with a few hundred strangers, breath in what they breath out for, oh, 10 hours or so and then try to remain calm and coherent answering the trying-to-trip-up-bad-guys questions from the professionally suspicious Border Guards. With less than 4 hours sleep. Then it&#8217;s off to lumber down the streets of Edinburgh with an enormous back pack and a wheelie suitcase&#8230;you&#8217;ll hear the little plastic wheels screeching over the cobblestones from here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Anyway, the donkeys are going on the road. I&#8217;ve started a real, like, travel blog thing I&#8217;m calling <a href=\"http:\/\/sermonsinstones.blaseckie.ca\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Sermons in Stones<\/span><\/a>\u00a0. There&#8217;s a post on it now closing the most recent chapter in my life. I hope to be posting there in a few days about the wonderful world of jet lag, haggis and where my Gran played when she was a nae mair than a wee bairn. That will be after I get over my post jet ride nausea&#8230;I don&#8217;t get motion sickness while in motion, only when it stops. But it passes.
