Time to lighten up a bit and be brief. What is it with me and videos. I guess it’s because movies are a big part of my life. So, Y = Yesterday…I could go for a Beatles tried and true version but I cannot hear that song without thinking of a small gem of a scene from Bean. Besides, you never know when you’ll find yourself facing a crocodile (I apologize for the rough German dub at the end of the clip).
And after that, another Mr. Bean clip because this is my blog and I can. Would you believe I selected this hymn as the entrance processional for my dad’s funeral?…He loved big entrances and, even more, he loved to laugh. It was a full house that day and a lot of the people there weren’t regular church folk so I wanted something they’d feel was familiar even if they didn’t know exactly why. Or why it lifted their spirits so much. Well, it made it easier for me to get through the day.
