Yesterday was the last day of the “Blogging from A to Z April Challenge 2011” hosted by the charming and talented Arlee Bird (Tossing it out) – a juggling fool and fine writer to boot (not rhyming with “about” as so many americans claim we Canucks do). Also hosting this year’s challenge:

I’m not into the Blog Award medalion handing out thing…unless, of course, someone wants to lavish me with winner of whatever, but a couple of honourable mentions to bloggers I’ve met and will continue to follow, interloculate and otherwise discuss the wonders of life: in the Soon to be a Dad and Sleep deprived all round great guy category: Nate Wilson and his “Sometimes, The Wheel is on Fire” blog…witty, intelligent gent.
There is also Baygirl 32, That Girl From Around the Bay from the other coast and Kathy the Oak Lawn Lady and so many others who have been gracious enough to stop in for a moment and say hello.
My final thanks…oh there goes the orchestra starting the “damn, woman, you talk too much” music…anyway, I’ll just shout over it to say it was fun keeping pace with Rob Lee, Unconventional Wisdom – got to learn a lot more about you Rob and it was all good plus the surprise entry, my dearest whom I affectionately call Mr. Mark and his traveloge blog, see[sic]…some of the places I’ve even been to but getting his perspective is priceless.
There are a lot more blogs I’ve started following for the great writing and insights they offer but I’ve got dishes to do and supper to start so, I guess I’ll have to come back to this another day…but y’all know who you is.
Most especially I need to say thank you to the few, the happy few who managed to stagger along reading all these posts…Thank you, it means a lot to me to know that you’re out there in the ether…I know you’re there, I can hear you breathing…go forth now and enjoy the spring, however it may manifest itself in your part of the world.
