Feeling homey

As opposed to homely…The house isn’t as clean as I intended it to be when I got up this morning but I have managed to get a fair amount of ‘stuff’ done. The kitchen is filled with the smell of home made baked beans and there’s a few loads of clean laundry to sort. The van is full of gas, tires rotated and oil changed. What a woman, eh? Yeah, the only thing is I still feel like when I pull into the Mr. Lube place they’re going to try and sell me a bunch of stuff I don’t need because it’s so easy to up-sell us old ladies. On the other hand, if the old van geniunely needs something, I don’t want to neglect it….what a dilema. Oh well, I think I can wait to hear from other trusted sources re a new battery and fuel system flush…Maybe it sounds like a good idea because sounds like something I think I could use.
By Monday, if the rain continues, Victoria will have broken the local record for consecutive days of rain…Isn’t that a cheerful thought? Almost makes the gloom worth putting up with for another couple of days.
Kids are home, time to get back to the grindstone, Mark is also back in tonight so everything goes back on schedule.
