I’m trying a new blog meme in an attempt to get myself back into a regular blogging routine again. It’s rather challenging at the moment for reasons that are rather tedious and, let’s face it, you really don’t want to hear them.
Anyway, Java at “Never Growing Old” posts 5 questions on Sunday night and then, to participate, there is a text box for the nifty icon. We post the text box (it’s hard to type with fingers crossed that the HTML fairy on WordPress will permit the icon to remain in place once I save and publish but one does what one must…) thus:
and then copy in the 5 questions before answering them:
Questions:
1. Crunchy or smooth peanut butter?
2. What is your favorite color Rose?
3. Do you remove your shoes when you walk into your home?
4. What is your favorite season?
5. Approximately how many hours a day do you spend blogging?
So:
1: Crunchy…unless I’m making peanut butter cookies, then smooth. But my favorite way to have peanut butter is with mayonaise on white bread with lettuce. This is from a depraved childhood on the prairies. I found out later in life this way of eating peanut butter is a quite common in Winnipeg.
2. Coral. If anyone is buying them for me. If we’re talking historic symbols, I’m a white rose…I believe Richard III was unjustly maligned by the heirs of Henry Richmond aka Hank 7…and will go into tedious detail about why but then my husband would lean across the table and gently throttle me before I can launch into the details once again about the royal lineage on mmmggggfhhhhhh…
3. Of course, I’m not a savage.
4. Here Spring – when it happens, which, apparently this year it isn’t. Back in Edmonton, where I grew up, however, it is Autumn…the few months of the year the temperature is enjoyable as it swings from the hammering heat of summer to the lip-bleeding cold of winter.
5. Depends on who you talk to…far too many, if my husband is consulted–especially if he is looking for a pair of socks that match. No where near enough if I had my way but someone has to do the laundry, walk the dog and, 24 hours or so out of the week, go to work. On average, about an hour to 2 hours if I’m writing every day. If the average was taken over a couple of years…So I guess, once I get that Tardis from Ikea put together, a whole bunch….
And there, as simple as that, a Monday post….wow. Now I can go to bed and put my ice cold feet up against the part of my dearest’s back where I think he is sheltering his kidneys….yes, men, it is true, we do it on purpose.
