Fuzzy eyes

why do they put drops in your eyes that dilate the pupils and then shine a mucky bright light in ’em . Surely this can’t be a healthy thing to do eyes.
My eyes are just starting to return to normal, the lights don’t seem quite so bright in the kitchen anymore and it’s safe to take the dark glasses off.
The appointment was at 3:45 and she was running behind so I didn’t get dropped, blinded and left to find my way home without a white cane or guide dog until after 5:00ish. When I made the appointment it seemed like a safe bet it was late enough in the day and far enough into the month that Mark would be back from his trip and able to pick me up. Ha ha.
It’s getting to be a long stretch this time. Four weeks on Wednesday and probably home by Sunday. It won’t be at all what you have imagined yourself coming home to, dear. I’m pretty sure there’ll be something to complain about within maybe a day of getting home – wanna place a bet?
Not that I’ve done anything.
R and I went to some open houses on the weekend. She actually enjoys it. One nice place but out of our price range and, realistically, too small.
Looking on the listings, maybe if we look in Langford or for something just being built, we can get a nice place for close to what we can sell this house for. That would work except for the Langford or elsewhere location.
Oh well, it’s a way to pass the time.
